Day 2 |
Breakfast 8:30. Departure 9:00. Sightseeing tour of Rome. The Vatican – is the smallest independent state in the world. St. Peter’s Basilica is the largest building in the Vatican and the largest Christian church in the world. We will also visit the Vatican Museum, where the collections of the Popes are kept, and the Sistine Chapel, decorated with Michelangelo’s frescoes. What adds to the intrigue is that the exhibits in the museums are often changed due to the huge collection of art objects, because the museums were founded in the 16th century by Pope Julius II, so we cannot know what is currently on display in the exhibition halls. Day 3 |
Breakfast 8:30. Departure 9:00. Sightseeing tour of Rome. The Roman Pantheon, the «temple of all gods» (2nd century), is the only truly preserved public building of Ancient Rome, the largest domed rotunda in the world. In the 7th century, the building was consecrated as the Church of St. Mary and All Martyrs. Now the Roman Pantheon is a national mausoleum, a burial place for outstanding people — in particular, Raphael and kings Victor Emmanuel II and Umberto I are buried here. Trevi Fountain — the most magical fountain in Rome. The Roman Forum – is a square in the center of ancient Rome where important religious, political, and social events took place. According to legend, the ancient Roman brothers Romulus and Remus founded it in 753 BC. According to historians, people first met publicly at the open-air forum around 500 BC, when the Roman Republic was founded. It later became the site of many of the ancient city’s most striking temples and monuments. Today, the Roman Forum is one of the world’s most famous tourist attractions, attracting more than 4.5 million visitors each year. Return to the hotel. Dinner. |

Breakfast 7:30. Departure 8:00. Rome tour – Colosseum – amphitheater, monument of ancient Roman architecture, one of the most grandiose and famous buildings of the ancient world. This is the calling card of the Italian capital. Free time. Return to the hotel. Dinner. |
Day 5 |
Breakfast 8:00. Check out from the hotel. Departure 8:30. Moving to Abano. On the way, an excursion to Florence – the aristocratic capital of Italy, only here you can see so many brilliant masterpieces of the Renaissance, because this city is called the «cradle of the Renaissance»! Florence is a city of delight, impressions, emotions. It is the birthplace of many world-famous geniuses, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Donatello, Dante and Galileo. Piazza della Signoria, Piazza San Giovanni with the baptistery, the Cathedral, the synagogue, numerous museums will instantly make you fall in love with this city. It is like a solid delicacy with a unique atmosphere of romance. The sightseeing tour will reveal the secrets of Venice, will lead to St. Mark’s Square with the majestic cathedral, the Doge’s Palace in the Gothic style, which will enchant you. In your free time, try on a carnival mask and be sure to ride along the narrow canals of Venice on a gondola, so that you do not regret later that you did not do it. Return to the hotel in Abano. Breakfast 8:00. Departure 8:30. Excursion to Pompeii – an ancient city on the shore of the Gulf of Naples, destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79. Ashes buried this city and preserved it unchanged to this day. Every year excavations are carried out in this area, bringing new discoveries to archaeologists. A tour of Naples that includes the main architectural treasures of the city: the «new castle», the San Carlo Theatre, the Umberto I Gallery, the Royal Palace, the Spanish Quarters, the Plebiscito Square, the famous coffee shops and pizzerias of Naples, the «egg castle» Dell’Ovo, as well as a stunning panorama of the city and Mount Vesuvius.
