Day 1 |
Arrival at Athens airport. Meeting with a representative of the host party. Transfer to the hotel in Athens, check-in, rest. Dinner. |
Day 2 |
Breakfast 8:00. Departure 9:00. Athens city tour. During his second mission to Athens, the Apostle Paul preached on Mars’ Hill (Areopagus) about the «unknown god» (Acts 17:22-34). Moving to the city of Corinth. Apostle Paul arrived in Corinth on his second mission and stayed with Aquila and Priscilla. The apostle preached here and baptized many people (Acts 18:1–18). From Corinth, Paul wrote his letter to the Romans. Return to the hotel. Dinner |
Day 3 |
Breakfast 7:00. Check out from the hotel. Departure 8:00. Excursion to the Meteora Monastery (“floating in the air”) – The eighth wonder of the world, the cliffs in northern Greece reach a height of 600 meters above sea level. The monasteries built on top of these cliffs have been included in the UNESCO list of sites. Transfer to the town of Katerini – a resort town on the shores of the Aegean Sea. Accommodate in the hotel. Dinner. |

Day 6 |
Breakfast 7:00. Departure 8:00. Excursion to the city of Thessaloniki. This is the city where Paul preached during his second missionary journey. Paul’s missionary group went to Berea after the Jews threatened their safety (Acts 17:1–10). Moving to the city of Kavala – here Paul, Silas and Timothy converted a woman named Lydia, cast out an evil spirit and were beaten (Acts 16:11–23). Having received God’s help, they were released from prison (Acts 16:23–26). Transfer to the city of Philippi — an ancient Macedonian city on the coast of the Aegean Sea, on the former Egnatian Way. Founded by the Macedonian king Philip and named in his honor. During the Roman era, in 42 BC, two battles took place near the city between the Caesarians (Octavian Augustus and Mark Antony) and the Republicans (Mark Junius Brutus). The first European city where a Christian community was formed through the efforts of the Apostle Paul was Lydia of Thyatira “and her household” (Acts 16:12). One of the letters of the Apostle Paul is addressed to the inhabitants of this city. In 2016, the ruins of the ancient city were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel. Dinner. |

Breakfast from 7:00. Rest on the Aegean Sea. For those from the group who wish – shopping for fur products in Paralia, Katerini (included in the cost of the program) Dinner. |
Day 8 |
Breakfast from 7:00. Rest on the Aegean Sea. It is possible to attend a service in one of the local churches. Dinner. |
Day 9 |
Breakfast 7:00. Departure 8:00. Excursion to the city of Berea – where Paul, Silas, and Timothy found worthy souls to teach during Paul’s second missionary journey. The Jews from Thessalonica came after them and persecuted them (Acts 17:10–13). Optional – Shopping for fur products in a large fur center in Kastoria (at the request of the group for an additional fee — depends on the number of people interested). Return to the hotel. Dinner. |
Day 10 |
Breakfast from 7:00. Check-out from the hotel. Departure 12:00. Rest on the Aegean Sea. Transfer to a transit hotel in Athens. Dinner. |
Day 11 |
Breakfast from 7:00. Check-out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. If you wish, you can stay for additional days in Athens or fly to another city in Europe. There are many inexpensive Lowcost flights from Athens airport. |
Cost of the program (excluding air tickets): 1550 €
The price of the program includes:
- Accommodation in tourist class hotels 4* — 4+* in rooms with amenities.
- Meals in hotels are on the HB system (breakfast + dinner).
- Transportation service by comfortable bus (including tips to the driver and paid parking).
- Excursion service according to the program by a qualified guide (including tips).
- Entrance tickets to historical sites according to the program.
- Audio systems individually for each person.
Not included in the tour price:
- Air tickets.
- Optional activity (participation is optional) – a trip to the fur center in Kastoria.
- Set lunches (optional) – 15-20 €/day
- Insurance (for the best price, it is issued for a group) – price per person (depending on age) – about $20.
The organizers are not responsible for refusal of entry to Turkey by border control.
The organizers reserve the right to change the places of visits, while maintaining the general composition of the program.
As a result of the group formation, meetings will be planned for those arriving on different flights.
